DEATH
Death Skateboards is a British brand founded in Harrow in 1998 by Nick Zorlac, born in reaction to the "small wheels / big pants / hip-hop" culture that then dominated skateboarding.
The brand defines itself as "skater-owned and operated".
Death's visual identity is immediately recognizable: the skull & crossbones logo, graphics that are often raw, sometimes absurd, always distinctive.
In its early days, Death initially produced stickers, before growing in size and expanding its range to include complete decks.
In skate culture, Death has made a name for itself for its independent spirit, its "fun with friends" approach and the freedom it gives its riders to create without compromise.
Today, Death decks are chosen for their striking aesthetic, their authenticity, and by those seeking a brand that doesn't conform to the "polished mainstream." A Death board is a statement: identity, attitude, and unfiltered skating.
